As a career firefighter of over 21 years, Bob Blevins, president and CEO of Sacred Heart Home Health Care, has worked with many senior citizens in challenging situations. It was during his years running the ambulance service for his Kansas town that he worked with a number seniors who wanted to age in place, but did not have the necessary resources to remain safely at home. This drove Bob to find a better way to help seniors age in the comfort of home.
Seeing the happiness that succeeding at home brings to the elderly and the desire to help these individuals maintain their dignity and independence in their golden years became Bob’s passion and led him to open Sacred Heart — a full-service home health and private duty agency that can assist clients no matter what their home care needs.
